أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ الْجَزَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ سورة الأنفال آية 41، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ كَمْ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْخُمُسِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خُمُسُ الْخُمُسِ .

Urdu Translation

مطرف کہتے ہیں کہ   عامر شعبی سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حصے اور آپ کے صفی کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا حصہ ایک مسلمان شخص کے حصے کی طرح ہوتا تھا۔ رہا «صفی» ۱؎ کے حصے کا معاملہ تو آپ کو اختیار ہوتا کہ غلام، لونڈی اور گھوڑے وغیرہ میں سے جسے چاہیں لے لیں۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Mutarrif said: Ash-Shabi was asked about the share of the Prophet and what he chose for himself. He said: 'The share of the Prophet was like the share of any Muslim man, and what he chose for himself was something precious; he chose whatever he wanted to. '
