أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَذَكَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَذِنَ فِي الْخَيْلِ .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنگ خیبر کے دن گدھوں کا گوشت کھانے سے منع فرمایا اور گھوڑوں کے گوشت کھانے کی اجازت دی ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Jabir said: On the Day of Khaibar, the Messenger of Allah forbade the flesh of donkeys but he permitted the flesh of horses.
