أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَخْبَأُ الْكُرَاعَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ يَأْكُلُهُ .

Urdu Translation

عابس کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے قربانی کے گوشت کے متعلق سوال کیا تو انہوں نے کہا: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے ایک ایک مہینے تک قربانی کے پائے رکھ چھوڑتے، پھر آپ اسے کھاتے۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdur'Rahman bin 'Abis that his father said: I asked 'Aishah about the meat of the sacrificial animals and she said: 'We used to keep the trotters for the Messenger of Allah for a month, then he would eat them.
