It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah forbade (eating) animals that had been taken as targets, the milk of Al-Jallalah (animals that eat dung), and drinking directly from water skins.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَبَنِ الْجَلَّالَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «مجثمہ» ( جو جانور باندھ کر نشانہ لگا کر مار ڈلا گیا ہو ) سے، «جلالہ» ( گندگی کھانے والے جانور ) کے دودھ سے، اور مشک کے منہ سے منہ لگا کر پینے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
