أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ إِيَاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ فَضْلِ الْمَاءِ .

Urdu Translation

ایاس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فاضل پانی کے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، وہط کے نگراں نے وہط کا فاضل پانی بیچا تو عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما نے اسے ناپسند کیا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Iyas that: the Messenger of Allah forbade selling surplus water. The keeper of al-Wahat sold the surplus water of al-Wahat, and 'Abdullah bin 'Arm disapproved of that.
