Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيُّكُمْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ أَوْ نَخْلٌ فَلَا يَبِعْهَا حَتَّى يَعْرِضَهَا عَلَى شَرِيكِهِ .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں اگر کسی کے پاس کوئی زمین یا کھجور کا درخت ہو تو اسے نہ بیچے جب تک کہ اپنے حصہ دار و شریک سے نہ پوچھ لے“ ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet said: Any one of you who has land, or date palm trees, he should not sell them until he offers them to his partner first.
