Baab Qasama, Qasas Aur Diyat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خِشْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِيَةَ الْخَطَإِ عِشْرِينَ بِنْتَ مَخَاضٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِشْرِينَ ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ ذُكُورًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِشْرِينَ بِنْتَ لَبُونٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِشْرِينَ جَذَعَةً،‏‏‏‏ وَعِشْرِينَ حِقَّةً .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قتل خطا کی دیت میں بیس اونٹنیاں ایک ایک سال کی جو دوسرے میں لگی ہوں، بیس اونٹ جو ایک ایک سال کے ہوں اور دوسرے میں لگے ہوں، بیس اونٹنیاں دو دو سال کی جو تیسرے میں لگی ہوں، بیس اونٹنیاں چار چار سال کی جو پانچویں میں لگی ہوں اور بیس اونٹنیاں تین تین سال کی جو چوتھے میں لگی ہوں دینے کا حکم کیا ۱؎۔

English Translation

In Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah ruled that the Diyah for accidental killing is twenty Bint Makhad, twenty Bin Makhad, twenty Bint Labur, twenty Jadh'ah, and twenty Hiqqah.
