أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قالت:‏‏‏‏ أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى نَادَاهُ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ غَيْرَكُمْ . وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي غَيْرَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء کو مؤخر کیا یہاں تک کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے آپ کو آواز دی کہ عورتیں اور بچے سو گئے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے، اور فرمایا:  تمہارے سوا کوئی نہیں جو اس نماز کو  ( اس وقت )  پڑھ رہا ہو ، ان دنوں اہل مدینہ کے سوا کوئی اور نماز پڑھنے والا نہیں تھا۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delayed 'Isha' until 'Umar called him and said: 'The women and children have gone to sleep.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out and said: 'There is no one who is offering this prayer but you.' And at that time no one used to pray except the people of Al-Madinah.
