أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي يَرْبُوعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو فُلَانٍ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا فُلَانًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَجْنِي نَفْسٌ عَلَى أُخْرَى .

Urdu Translation

بنی یربوع کے ایک شخص کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، آپ لوگوں سے گفتگو فرما رہے تھے، کچھ لوگوں نے آپ کے سامنے کھڑے ہو کر کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی فلاں ہیں جنہوں نے فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”کسی نفس پر کسی کا قصور نہیں ہو گا“۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Ash'ath, from his father that a man from among Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' said: We came to the Messenger of Allah when he was speaking to the people, and some people stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'No soul is affected by the sin of another.'''
