Baab Zeenat O Araish Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنِي حَاجِبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ مُعَصْفَرَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَغَضِبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ فَاطْرَحْهُمَا عَنْكَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي النَّارِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، وہ پیلے رنگ کے دو کپڑے پہنے ہوئے تھے، یہ دیکھ کر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم غصہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”جاؤ اور اسے اپنے جسم سے اتار دو“۔ وہ بولے: کہاں؟ اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے فرمایا: ”آگ میں“ ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that: He came to the Prophet [SAW] wearing two garments dyed with safflower. The Prophet [SAW] got angry and said: Go and take them off. He said: Where should I throw them, O Messenger of Allah? He said: In the fire.
