Baab Mashroobat Se Mutaliq Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قِرَاءَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْجَرِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُزَفَّتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالدُّبَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالنَّقِيرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ سِقَاءً يُنْبَذْ لَهُ فِيهِ نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روغنی گھڑے، کدو کی تونبی اور لکڑی کے برتن سے منع فرمایا، اور جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مشکیزہ نہ ہوتا جس میں آپ کے لیے نبیذ تیار کی جاتی تو آپ کے لیے پتھر کے برتن میں نبیذ بنائی جاتی۔

English Translation

Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade Al-Muzaffat jars, Ad-Dubba' (gourds), An-Naqir, and if the Prophet [SAW] could not find a water-skin in which to make Nabidh, it would be made for him in a small vessel of stone.
