أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْكُوفِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْالْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ بِمَدِّ صَوْتِهِ وَيُصَدِّقُهُ مَنْ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَهُ .

Urdu Translation

براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  اللہ تعالیٰ پہلی صف والوں پر صلاۃ یعنی رحمت بھیجتا ہے اور فرشتے ان کے لیے صلاۃ بھیجتے یعنی ان کے حق میں دعا کرتے ہیں، اور مؤذن کو جہاں تک اس کی آواز پہنچتی ہے بخش دیا جاتا ہے، اور خشک وتر میں سے جو بھی اسے سنتا ہے اس کی تصدیق کرتا ہے، اور اسے ان تمام کے برابر ثواب ملے گا جو اس کے ساتھ صلاۃ پڑھیں گے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Al-Bara bin 'Azib that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah and His angels say salah upon the from rows, and the Mu'adhdhin will be forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and whatever hears him, wet or dry, will confirm what he says, and he will have a reward like that of those who pray with him.
