It was narrated that Salamah bin Al-Akwa said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah(ﷺ), I go hunting wearing nothing but a single shirt. Can I pray in it?' He said: 'Fasten it to yourself even with a thorn.'

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي لَأَكُونُ فِي الصَّيْدِ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيَّ إِلَّا الْقَمِيصُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَفَأُصَلِّي فِيهِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَزُرَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَلَوْ بِشَوْكَةٍ .

سلمہ بن الاکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں شکار پر جاتا ہوں اور میرے جسم پر سوائے قمیص کے کچھ نہیں ہوتا، تو کیا میں اس میں نماز پڑھ لوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  ( ہاں پڑھ لو )  اور اس میں ایک تکمہ لگا لو گرچہ کانٹے ہی کا ہو ۔
