أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب نماز شروع کرتے تو کہتے: «سبحانك اللہم وبحمدك تبارك اسمك وتعالى جدك ولا إله غيرك»  اے اللہ! تو  ( شرک اور تمام عیبوں سے )  پاک ہے، اور لائق حمد ہے، تیرا نام بابرکت ہے، اور تیری شان بلند و بالا ہے، اور تیرے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that: When the Prophet (ﷺ) started to pray he would say: Subhanakallahumma, wa bihamdika tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghairuk (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed be Your name and exalted be Your majesty, there is none worthy of worship except You.)
