أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْقَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ قال:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يَجْهَرُ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ سورة الفاتحة آية 1 .

Urdu Translation

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم، ابوبکر، عمر اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی لیکن میں نے ان میں سے کسی ایک کو بھی«بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحيم» زور سے پڑھتے نہیں سنا۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Anas said: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman, may Allah be pleased with them, and I did not hear any of them say out loud: In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
