أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قال:‏‏‏‏ أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي السَّبْعَ الطُّوَلَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو «سبع المثاني» یعنی سات لمبی سورتیں ۱؎ عطا کی گئی ہیں۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: The Prophet (ﷺ) was given seven oft-recited; the seven long ones.
