حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْيَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ الْعَبْدِ وَالشِّرْكِ إِلَّا تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا تَرَكَهَا فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ .

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بندے اور شرک کے درمیان نماز چھوڑنے کا فرق ہے، جب اس نے نماز چھوڑ دی تو شرک کیا ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There is nothing standing between a person and Shirk (polytheism) except leaving the prayer, so if he leaves it he has committed Shirk.”
