حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَحَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَحْسَنَ غُسْلَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَطَهَّرَ فَأَحْسَنَ طُهُورَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَبِسَ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ ثِيَابِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَسَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِنْ طِيبِ أَهْلِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى .

Urdu Translation

ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص نے جمعہ کے دن اچھی طرح غسل کیا، اچھی طرح وضو کیا، سب سے اچھا کپڑا پہنا، اور اس کے گھر والوں کو اللہ نے جو خوشبو میسر کی اسے لگایا، پھر جمعہ کے لیے آیا اور کوئی لغو اور بیکار کام نہیں کیا، اور دو مل کر بیٹھنے والوں کو الگ الگ کر کے بیچ میں نہیں گھسا ۱؎ تو اس کے اس جمعہ سے دوسرے جمعہ تک کے گناہ معاف کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever takes a bath on a Friday and does it well, and purifies himself and does it well, and puts on his best clothes, and puts on whatever Allah decrees for him of the perfume of his family, then comes to the mosque and does not engage in idle talk or separate (pushing between) two people; he will be forgiven for (his sins) between that day and the previous Friday.”
