حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَعْدِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا هَلْ عَسَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ الصُّبَّةَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ عَلَى رَأْسِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ فَيَتَعَذَّرَ عَلَيْهِ الْكَلَأُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَرْتَفِعَ ثُمَّ تَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَجِيءُ وَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا حَتَّى يُطْبَعَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سن لو! قریب ہے کہ تم میں سے کوئی شخص ایک یا دو میل کے فاصلے پہ بکریوں کا ایک ریوڑ اکٹھا کر لے، وہاں گھاس ملنی مشکل ہو جائے تو دور چلا جائے، پھر جمعہ آ جائے اور وہ واپس نہ آئے، اور نماز جمعہ میں شریک نہ ہو، پھر جمعہ آئے اور وہ حاضر نہ ہو، اور پھر جمعہ آئے اور وہ حاضر نہ ہو، بالآخر اس کے دل پہ مہر لگا دی جاتی ہے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “What if one of you were to take a flock of sheep and look for grass for them one or two miles away, but he cannot find any at that distance, so he goes further away? Then (the time for) Friday comes but he does not attend it, then (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, and (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, until Allah places a seal on his heart.”
