Sunan Ibn Majah 1303

It was narrated from ‘Amir that Qais bin Sa’d said: “There is nothing that happened during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) except that I have seen it, except for one thing, which is that Taqlis was performed for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the Day of Fitr. (Three other chains of narration) with similar wording.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا كَانَ شَيْءٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ إِلَّا شَيْءٌ وَاحِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يُقَلَّسُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ .
