It was narrated that ‘Ali said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: ‘Do not show your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of anyone, living or dead.’”

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا مَيِّتٍ .

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: تم اپنی ران نہ کھولو، اور کسی زندہ یا مردہ کی ران نہ دیکھو ۔
