حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْسَفِينَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ الصَّلَاةَ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَمَا زَالَ يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى مَا يَفِيضَ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے اس مرض میں کہ جس میں آپ کا انتقال ہو گیا، فرما رہے تھے: «الصلاة وما ملكت أيمانكم» نمسش کا، اور لونڈیوں اور غلاموں کا خیال رکھنا آپ برابر یہی جملہ کہتے رہے، یہاں تک کہ آپ کی زبان مبارک رکنے لگی ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, during the illness that would be his last: “The prayer, and those whom your hands possess.”* And he kept on saying it until his tongue could no longer utter any words.
