حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِيهِ النَّفْخَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِيهِ الصَّعْقَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ صَلَاتُنَا عَلَيْكَ وَقَدْ أَرِمْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَعْنِي:‏‏‏‏ بَلِيتَ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ .

Urdu Translation

اوس بن اوس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہارے دنوں میں سب سے افضل جمعہ کا دن ہے، اسی دن آدم پیدا ہوئے، اسی دن صور پھونکا جائے گا، اور اسی دن لوگ بیہوش ہوں گے، لہٰذا اس دن کثرت سے میرے اوپر درود ( صلاۃ و سلام ) بھیجا کرو، اس لیے کہ تمہارا درود مجھ پر پیش کیا جاتا ہے، تو ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہمارا درود آپ پر کیسے پیش کیا جائے گا؟ جب کہ آپ بوسیدہ ہو چکے ہوں گے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ نے زمین پر حرام کر دیا ہے کہ وہ انبیاء کا جسم کھائے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The best of your days is Friday. On it Adam was created; on it shall be the Nafakhah,* on it all creation will swoon. So send a great deal of blessing upon me on this day, for your blessing will be presented to me.’ A man said: “O Messenger of Allah! How will our blessing be presented to you when you have disintegrated?” He said: “Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.”
