حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْغَازِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ يَتَحَرَّى صِيَامَ الِاثْنَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْخَمِيسِ .

Urdu Translation

ربیعہ بن الغاز سے روایت ہے کہ   انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے روزوں کے سلسلے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دوشنبہ اور جمعرات کے روزے کا اہتمام کرتے تھے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Rabi’ah bin Ghaz that he asked ‘Aishah about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). She said: “He used to make sure he fasted on Mondays and Thursdays.”
