It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that: the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ نَرَ لِلْمُتَحَابَّيْنِ مِثْلَ النِّكَاحِ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: دو شخص کے درمیان محبت کے لیے نکاح جیسی کوئی چیز نہیں دیکھی گئی ۱؎۔
