حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِ?ُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَى عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ مَهْ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ .

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ ( کے جسم ) پر پیلے رنگ کے اثرات دیکھے، تو پوچھا: یہ کیا ہے ؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے ایک عورت سے گٹھلی کے برابر سونے کے عوض شادی کر لی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:«بارك الله لك أولم ولو بشاة» اللہ تمہیں برکت دے ولیمہ کرو اگرچہ ایک بکری سے ہی کیوں نہ ہو ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik: the Prophet saw traces of yellow perfume on 'Abdur-Rahmaan bin 'Awf, and he asked him “What is this?” He said: “O Messenger of Allah, I married a women for the weight of a Nawah (Stone) of gold. He said: “May Allah bless you. Give a feast even if it is only with one sheep.”
