حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلَالَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ مِثْلُ آثَامِ مَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنَ آثَامِهِمْ شَيْئًا .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو کسی ہدایت کی طرف بلائے تو اسے بھی اتنا ہی ثواب ملے گا جتنا اس شخص کو ملے گا جس نے اس کی اتباع کی، اور اس سے ان کے ثواب میں کوئی کمی نہ ہو گی، اور جو کسی گمراہی کی طرف بلائے تو اسے بھی اتنا ہی گناہ ہو گا جتنا اس کی اتباع کرنے والوں کو ہو گا، اور اس سے ان کے گناہوں میں کوئی کمی نہ ہو گی ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: Whoever calls people to true guidance, will have a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. And whoever calls people to misguidance, will have a (burden of) sin equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their sins in the slightest.'
