حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ النَّضْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَى عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَجُلًا يَسْرِقُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَسَرَقْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَكَذَّبْتُ بَصَرِي .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام نے ایک شخص کو چوری کرتے ہوئے دیکھا تو فرمایا: تم نے چوری کی ہے؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں، قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، عیسیٰ علیہ السلام نے کہا: میں اللہ پر ایمان لایا، اور میں نے اپنی آنکھ کو جھٹلا دیا ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Eisa bin Maryam saw a man stealing and said: 'Did you steal?' He said: 'No, by the One besides Whom there is no other God.' 'Eisa said: 'I believe in Allah, and I do not believe what my eyes see.'
