حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فَضَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَسْرِ سِكَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَائِزَةِ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا مِنْ بَأْسٍ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بغیر ضرورت مسلمانوں کے رائج سکہ کو توڑنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Alqamah bin 'Abdullah that his father said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade breaking the coins of the Muslims that are in circulation among them, without any necessary reason.”(1)
