Baab Taharat Aur Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ هَذَا الْخَيْرَ خَزَائِنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلِتِلْكَ الْخَزَائِنِ مَفَاتِيحُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَطُوبَى لِعَبْدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِفْتَاحًا لِلْخَيْرِ مِغْلَاقًا لِلشَّرِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَوَيْلٌ لِعَبْدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِفْتَاحًا لَلشَّرِّ مِغْلَاقًا لِلْخَيْرِ .

Urdu Translation

سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ خیر خزانے ہیں، اور ان خزانوں کی کنجیاں بھی ہیں، اس بندے کے لیے خوشخبری ہے جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے خیر کی کنجی، اور شر کا قفل بنا دیا ہو، اور اس بندے کے لیے ہلاکت ہے جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے شر کی کنجی، اور خیر کا قفل بنایا ہو ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa'd that: The Messenger of Allah said: This goodness contains many treasures, and for those there are keys. So glad tidings to the one whom Allah makes a key to good and a lock for evil, and woe to the one whom Allah makes a key to evil and a lock to good.
