حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مُرَاوِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَيُّ الرِّقَابِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْفَسُهَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِهَا وَأَغْلَاهَا ثَمَنًا .

Urdu Translation

ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کون سا غلام آزاد کرنا سب سے زیادہ بہتر ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو مالکوں کو سب سے زیادہ پسند ہو، اور جو قیمت کے اعتبار سے سب سے مہنگا ہو ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: “I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), which slave is best?' He said: ‘The one who is most precious to his master and most valuable in price.' ”
