حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعِطَافِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ تَعَلَّمُوا الْفَرَائِضَ وَعَلِّمُوهَا فَإِنَّهُ نِصْفُ الْعِلْمِ وَهُوَ يُنْسَى وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ يُنْتَزَعُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابوہریرہ! علم فرائض سیکھو اور سکھاؤ، اس لیے کہ وہ علم کا آدھا حصہ ہے، وہ بھلا دیا جائے گا، اور سب سے پہلے یہی علم میری امت سے اٹھایا جائے گا ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “O Abu Hurairah. Learn about the inheritance and teach it, for it is half of knowledge, but it will be forgotten. This is the first thing that will be taken away from my nation.’”
