حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الطُّهُورُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَحْرِيمُهَا التَّكْبِيرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ .

Urdu Translation

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نماز کی کنجی طہارت ( وضو ) ہے، اور ( دوران نماز ممنوع چیزوں کو ) حرام کر دینے والی چیز تکبیر ( تحریمہ ) ہے، اور ( نماز سے باہر ) امور کو حلال کر دینے والی چیز سلام ہے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Muhammed bin Al-Hanafiyyah that his father said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'The key to prayer is purification, its opening is to say 'Allahu Akbar' and its closing is to say As-salamu 'alaikum.'
