حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي أَيِّ شَهْرٍ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي رَجَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْعَائِشَةُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ تَعْنِي:‏‏‏‏ ابْنَ عُمَرَ.

Urdu Translation

عروہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا گیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کس مہینہ میں عمرہ کیا؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: رجب میں، اس پر ام المؤمنین عائشہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کبھی بھی رجب میں عمرہ نہیں کیا، اور آپ کا کوئی عمرہ ایسا نہیں جس میں وہ یعنی ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما آپ کے ساتھ نہ رہے ہوں۔

English Translation

It was narrated that ‘Urwah said: “Ibn ‘Umar was asked: ‘In which month did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) perform ‘Umrah?’ He said: ‘In Rajab.’ But ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never performed ‘Umrah during Rajab, and he never performed ‘Umrah, but he (meaning Ibn ‘Umar) was with him.”
