حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِ أَرْبَعٍ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ:‏‏‏‏ النَّمْلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالنَّحْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْهُدْهُدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالصُّرَدِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چار جانوروں: چیونٹی، شہد کی مکھی، ہد ہد اور لٹورا کو قتل کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade killing four kinds of animals: Ants, bees, hoopoes and shrikes.”
