حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ بِهَذَا حَتَّى دَخَلْتُ الشَّامَ.

Urdu Translation

ابوثعلبہ خشنی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر کچلی ( نوک دار دانت ) والے درندے کے کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے ۱؎۔ زہری کہتے ہیں کہ شام جانے سے پہلے میں نے یہ حدیث نہیں سنی۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade eating any predatory animal that has fangs.
