It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the servant of anyone of you brings his food, let him make him sit down with him or give him some of it, for he is the one who put up with its heat and smoke.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْهَجَرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ،‏‏‏‏ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلِيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ .

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کسی کا غلام کھانا لے کر آئے تو اسے چاہیئے کہ وہ غلام کو اپنے ساتھ بٹھائے، یا یہ کہ اس میں سے اسے بھی دے، اس لیے کہ وہی تو ہے جس نے اس کی گرمی اور اس کے دھوئیں کی تکلیف اٹھائی ہے ۔
