It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “A man burped in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: ‘Withhold your burps from us! For the most hungry of you on the Day of Resurrection will be those who most ate their fill in this world.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَبُو يَحْيَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْبَكَّاءِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَجَشَّأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُفَّ جُشَاءَكَ عَنَّا،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَكُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ،‏‏‏‏ أَكْثَرُكُمْ شِبَعًا فِي دَارِ الدُّنْيَا .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ڈکار لی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنی ڈکار کو ہم سے روکو، اس لیے کہ قیامت کے دن تم میں سب سے زیادہ بھوکا وہ رہے گا جو دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ سیر ہو کر کھا تا ہے ۱؎۔
