Baab Wasiyat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو شُرَيْحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نِمْرَانَ الْحَجْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ نَفَرًا أَتَوْا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدَ مِنْهُمْ رِيحِ الْكُرَّاثِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَمْ أَكُنْ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ،‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَتَأَذَّى مِمَّا يَتَأَذَّى مِنْهُ الْإِنْسَانُ .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   کچھ لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے، آپ کو ان کی جانب سے گندنے کی بو محسوس ہوئی تو فرمایا: کیا میں نے تمہیں اس پودے کو کھانے سے نہیں روکا تھا؟ یقیناً فرشتوں کے لیے وہ چیزیں باعث اذیت ہوتی ہیں، جو انسان کے لیے باعث اذیت ہیں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Jabir that a group of people came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he noticed the smell of leeks coming from them. He said: “Did I not forbid you to eat these vegetables? For the angels are offended by that which offends people.”
