حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْمَسْرُوقٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَمَّا نَزَلَتِ الْآيَاتُ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي الرِّبَا،‏‏‏‏ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ فَحَرَّمَ التِّجَارَةَ فِي الْخَمْرِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   جب سود کے سلسلے میں سورۃ البقرہ کی آخری آیات نازل ہوئیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے، اور شراب کی تجارت کو حرام قرار دے دیا۔

English Translation

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “When the Verses at the end of Surat Al-Baqarah concerning usury were revealed, the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) went out and forbade dealing in wine.”
