حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّة وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هِيَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا،‏‏‏‏ وَهِيَ لَكُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ .

Urdu Translation

حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے چاندی کے برتن میں پینے سے منع فرمایا ہے، آپ کا ارشاد ہے: یہ ان ( کافروں ) کے لیے دنیا میں ہیں اور تمہارے لیے آخرت میں ہیں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade drinking from vessels of gold and silver. He said: “They are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter.’”
