It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The evil eye is real.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُضَارِبِ بْنِ حَزْنٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ .
