Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ نُذَيْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَسْفَلِ عَضَلَةِ سَاقِي أَوْ سَاقِهِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا مَوْضِعُ الْإِزَارِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَأَسْفَلَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَأَسْفَلَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ .

Urdu Translation

حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میری پنڈلی کے نیچے کا پٹھا پکڑا اور فرمایا: تہبند کا مقام یہ ہے، اگر تم اتنا نہ کر سکو تو اس سے تھوڑا نیچے رکھو، اور اگر اتنا بھی نہ رکھ سکو تو اور نیچے رکھو، لیکن اگر اتنا بھی نہ کر سکو تو تمہیں ٹخنوں سے نیچے تہبند رکھنے کا کوئی حق نہیں ہے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took hold of the lower part of my calf or his calf and said: ‘This is where the lower wrap should come to. If you insist, then lower, and if you insist, then lower, but the lower wrap has no right to (come to) the ankle.’”
