Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَخَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَرَ مِنَ الشَّيْبِ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا نَحْوَ سَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ أَوْ عِشْرِينَ شَعَرَةً فِي مُقَدَّمِ لِحْيَتِهِ .

Urdu Translation

حمید کہتے ہیں کہ   انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سوال کیا گیا: کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خضاب لگایا ہے؟ کہا: میں نے آپ کی داڑھی میں سفید بال دیکھے ہی نہیں سوائے ان سترہ یا بیس بالوں کے جو آپ کی داڑھی کے سامنے والے حصے میں تھے۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Humaid said: “Anas bin Malik was asked: ‘Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) dye his hair?’ He said: ‘He did not have any white hair apart from approximately seventeen or twenty hairs at the front of his beard.’”
