Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَا الْقَزَعُ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْ يُحْلَقَ مِنْ رَأْسِ الصَّبِيِّ مَكَانٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَيُتْرَكَ مَكَانٌ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «قزع» سے منع فرمایا۔ راوی نے کہا: «قزع» کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا: بچے کے سر کے بال ایک جگہ کے کاٹ دئیے جائیں، اور دوسری جگہ کے چھوڑ دئیے جائیں، اسے «قزع» کہتے ہیں۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Nafi’ that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade Qaza’.” He (Nafi’) said: “What is Qaza’?” He said: “It means shaving part of a child’s head and leaving another part.”
