Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا فِي بَعْضِ الْمَغَازِي،‏‏‏‏ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ أَنْ تُصَوِّرَ فِي بَيْتِهَا نَخْلَ،‏‏‏‏ فَمَنَعَهَا أَوْ نَهَاهَا .

Urdu Translation

ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک عورت نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر آپ کو بتایا کہ اس کا شوہر کسی جنگ میں گیا ہوا ہے، اور اپنے گھر میں کھجور کے درخت کی تصویر بنانے کی اجازت طلب کی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے منع فرما دیا یا روک دیا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Umamah that a woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him that her husband was away on some military campaign. She asked him for permission to make an image of a palm tree in her house, and he did not let her, or he forbade her.
