It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: Do not camp on the middle of the road, or relieve yourselves there.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَنْزِلُوا عَلَى جَوَادِّ الطَّرِيقِ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا تَقْضُوا عَلَيْهَا الْحَاجَاتِ .

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نہ راستہ کے درمیان قیام کرو، اور نہ وہاں قضائے حاجت کرو ۱؎۔
