It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever sees me in a dream, has seen me in reality, for Satan cannot appear in my form.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَدْ رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ عَلَى صُورَتِي .

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے مجھے خواب میں دیکھا، تو اس نے مجھے بیداری میں دیکھا کیونکہ شیطان میری صورت نہیں اپنا سکتا ۱؎۔
