Sunan Ibn Majah 3931 - Tribulations

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا إِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْأَيَّامِ يَوْمُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الشُّهُورِ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْبَلَدِ بَلَدُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ،‏‏‏‏ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجۃالوداع کے موقع پر فرمایا: آگاہ رہو! تمام دنوں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ دن ہے، آگاہ رہو! تمام مہینوں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ مہینہ ہے، آگاہ رہو! شہروں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ شہر ہے، آگاہ رہو! تمہاری جان، تمہارے مال ایک دوسرے پر اسی طرح حرام ہیں جیسے تمہارا یہ دن تمہارے اس مہینے میں، تمہارے اس شہر میں، آگاہ رہو! کیا میں نے تمہیں اللہ کا پیغام نہیں پہنچا دیا ؟، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: ہاں، آپ نے پہنچا دیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ تو گواہ رہ ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: ‘Is not the most sacred of your days this day, is not the most sacred of your months this month, is not the most sacred of your lands this land? Your blood and your wealth are as sacred to you as this day of yours in this month of yours. Have I not conveyed (the message)?’ They said: ‘Yes.” He said: ‘O Allah, bear witness.’”
