Baab Jannat Ka Wasf Aur Is Ki Naimaton Ka Tazkira

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ مِشْكَمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ غَيْلَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَصَدَّقَنِي،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ مَا جِئْتُ بِهِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَقْلِلْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَحَبِّبْ إِلَيْهِ لِقَاءَكَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَجِّلْ لَهُ الْقَضَاءَ،‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِي وَلَمْ يُصَدِّقْنِي،‏‏‏‏ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَا جِئْتُ بِهِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَطِلْ عُمُرَهُ .

Urdu Translation

عمرو بن غیلان ثقفی کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ! جو مجھ پر ایمان لائے، میری تصدیق کرے، اور اس بات پر یقین رکھے کہ جو کچھ میں لایا ہوں وہی حق ہے، اور وہ تیری جانب سے ہے تو اس کے مال اور اولاد میں کمی کر، اپنی ملاقات کو اس کے لیے محبوب بنا دے، اس کی موت میں جلدی کر، اور جو مجھ پر ایمان نہ لائے، میری تصدیق نہ کرے، اور نہ اس بات پر یقین رکھے کہ جو میں لے کر آیا ہوں وہی حق ہے، تیری جانب سے اترا ہے، تو اس کے مال اور اولاد میں اضافہ کر دے، اور اس کی عمر لمبی کر ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Ghailan Ath-Thaqafi that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “O Allah, whoever believes in my and knows that what I have brought is the truth from You, decrease his wealth and his children, and make the meeting with You dear to him, and hasten his death. Whoever does not believe in me and does not know that what I have brought is the truth from You, increase his wealth and his children and make his life long.’”
